Film8 Studio
Film8 Studio is a Stockholm-based photo and video production company founded in 2023 by Shawn Ho and Zhanyi Xing.
We work with companies, brands, organizations and individuals to create visual content across photography and filmmaking. Our work includes commercial photography, video production, event photography, corporate portraits and production support in Sweden and the Nordic region.
Based in Stockholm, we work both locally and with international teams producing in Sweden and across the wider Nordic region.
The name “Film8” comes from “Filmmate” — a simple idea that reflects how we like to work: we believe that every successful project begins with clear and respectful communication. For us, professionalism means listening carefully, understanding goals, and collaborating openly throughout the process. We value transparency and mutual trust, ensuring that every project feels like a true partnership rather than a transaction. We also believe that beauty and purpose must coexist, which is reflected in our work that strives to find the balance between artistic expression and real-world functionality.
