About Film8

Film8 Studio

Founded in 2023 by Shawn Ho and Zhanyi Xing in Stockholm, Sweden, Film8 is a young yet ambitious visual production studio driven by a shared passion for photography and filmmaking. “Film8” stands for Filmmate—a reflection of our belief that the best stories are built on partnership and shared vision. In last three years, we’ve built a stronger presence not only in Sweden but also across Europe, the U.S., and China, gradually growing into a trusted Swedish production studio for international brands.

We provide both B2B and B2C services. For businesses, we offer event photography, commercial photography and videography, and corporate portraits. For individuals, our cozy studio in Gamla Stan welcomes clients for ID photos, business headshots, and lifestyle photo sessions — or simply a friendly chat over coffee.

At Film8, we believe that every successful project begins with clear and respectful communication. For us, professionalism means listening carefully, understanding goals, and collaborating openly throughout the process. We value transparency and mutual trust, ensuring that every project feels like a true partnership rather than a transaction. We also believe that beauty and purpose must coexist, which is reflected in uur work that strives to find the balance between artistic expression and real-world functionality.

We are all creators at heart.
