Q: How much does your event photography service cost?

At Film8, we’re creators, not intermediaries — which means you work directly with the team behind the camera. Without agency markups, our rates are often lower than most production hubs or agencies in Sweden.

Our base rate for event photography is typically SEK 2,000–2,500 per hour, depending on the scope of work. The total cost may vary if you require videography, on-site editing, or same-day delivery.

For example, our full production for the Dubai International Chamber’s inauguration event — which included one hour of on-site photography and videography, live editing, and same-day delivery — was SEK 15,000 in total.

Q: What types of corporate events do you photograph?

A: We cover virtually any business-related event. Our specialties include conferences, seminars, trade shows, brand activations, press launches, corporate celebrations, networking meetings and more. We also photograph community and school events (ceremonies, festivals, etc.) and live concerts. Whatever the occasion, we adapt my approach to fit the event’s scale and atmosphere.

Q: How do you prepare for an event?

A: Preparation is key. After you book our service, we will have a detailed discussion about the event goals and schedule. I ask for important details (agenda, key people, branding requirements) and review any shot list you provide. We may visit or virtually scout the venue in advance to note lighting and layout. This thorough planning ensures that on the day of the event we are already familiar with your needs, minimizing on-site surprises.

Q: Can you provide multiple photographers for large events?

A: Yes. If an event is extensive or held in multiple rooms, we deploy additional shooters. Our network includes experienced event photographers, so we can coordinate a team to cover different angles simultaneously. Whether it’s a one-person interview or a breakout session across the city, we ensure every part of your event is documented.

Q: When and how do we receive the photos after the event?

A: We offer fast delivery. In most cases, event photography does not require retouching. We can either copy the photos to you immediately after the event or share them later via an online service such as a cloud drive. If needed, we can also supply selected photos during the event for instant sharing on social media.

Q: Do you offer videography as well as photography?

A: Yes. In addition to photography, we provide videography services. We are able to produce event highlight films or live streams.

Q: Where do you operate? Are you available outside Stockholm?

A: Our base is in Stockholm, but we work throughout Sweden and even internationally. Whether your event is in Gothenburg, Malmö or beyond, we can provide local coverage. Our knowledge of Swedish venues and logistics helps us serve corporate clients nationwide.
