About Wilma Wickström

Wilma is a rising cinematographer whose artistry blends emotional depth with visual precision. Based in Stockholm, she joined the Film8 team after gaining recognition in Sweden’s film circles, and now contributes her keen eye to both independent and larger-scale productions.

Her creative journey includes serving as Director of Photography for numerous short films, such as “Det är många som ringer just nu” (2025), “NUDE” (2024), “Eldfågel” (2024), and “Yellow Moon” (2023). These projects showcase her ability to photograph with sensitivity, capture atmosphere, and bring narrative intention to life.

In her role at Film8, Wilma helps translate imagination into reality. She takes on both creative and technical responsibilities, ensuring the visuals not only meet industry standards, but also resonate on an emotional level.
