Film8 Documented the Dubai Government Delegation’s State Visit to Sweden and Denmark

This past June, our team at Film8 had the absolute honor of serving as the official media production partner for a high-profile, 5-day state visit. We accompanied a prestigious Dubai government delegation as they traveled across Stockholm, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark, and we captured every pivotal moment of this international exchange.
Our journey with the Dubai Chamber actually began last year. When they established their new office right here in Stockholm, they reached out to us to document their inauguration event. Building on the trust and success of that first collaboration, they returned to us this year for a much larger mission.

Partnering with The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Chamber led a distinguished government delegation through an intense, fast-paced 5-day itinerary spanning two Nordic capitals.
Operating as a specialized unit within our broader media group, Film8 took on the massive responsibility of handling most of the photography, videography, and real-time digital asset management (DIT). When you are documenting state visits, there is zero room for error. Moments happen fast, protocols are strict, and media outlets require instant, secure data transfers to broadcast updates globally.
Any challenges? Yes! Initially, we deployed a standard OneDrive workflow for cross-border delivery. However, we quickly noticed that the client's team in Dubai faced severe throttling, leading to slow or failed downloads. Recognizing the urgency of the media drop, our DIT team immediately pivoted our pipeline to WeTransfer Pro, optimizing our upload routes and instantly resolving the bottleneck.
