Film8 Provides Production Support for Volvo China Across Sweden

In March and April 2023, Film8 provided production and location services for Volvo China on a multi-location project in Sweden, supporting a production that travelled across some of the country’s most distinctive landscapes and cities.

Led on the ground by our in-house Location Fixer Shawn Ho, the project took the crew from Stockholm to Gothenburg and through central Sweden.

Commercial Photography & Travel Vlogs

The project resulted in a combination of commercial photography and two travel vlog films, capturing both Volvo’s brand imagery and the experience of travelling through Sweden.

The commercial photography focused on creating polished, versatile visuals for Volvo China, while the travel vlogs took a more documentary and experiential approach, following the journey through Swedish cities, countryside and roads.

Local Production Support in Sweden

For international productions shooting in Sweden, having a local production partner can make a significant difference. From location scouting and fixing to logistics and on-the-ground coordination, Film8 helps international agencies, brands and production teams navigate the practical challenges of filming in Sweden.
